Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Lisa is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Intern Psychotherapist. Lisa is seeing clients in person in Burlington, Ontario and virtually (via video and phone appointments) to anyone in Ontario for counselling services.   

Lisa has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, with experience working as a youth and resiliency worker, working with children and family services, helping families experiencing crises or families needing supervised access, and as a support worker for individuals struggling with homelessness, addictions or harmful behaviours.

 

Lisa also has experience supporting indigenous individuals dealing with homelessness, mental health and addictions, finances, legal, employment, academic studies, and cultural and traditional healing.

 

Lisa’s most recent experience has been supporting first responders (police, firefighters, health care workers, etc) dealing with any issues related to their work and personal life (ie. stress, crisis, trauma, and issues related to their work)

Lisa has a passion for helping individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as is particularly interested in supporting women.
