More About Marlin

From a young age, Marlin felt a deep calling to support others. Her natural ability to connect with people and hold space for their experiences made her the go-to person for others seeking guidance. Over time, this passion for understanding human emotions and relationships led her to study psychology, where she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees with distinction. Through her own life experiences, Marlin gained firsthand insight into the power of therapy and the importance of feeling truly seen and understood.

Since starting her career, Marlin has dedicated herself to helping individuals and couples through life’s challenges. She specializes in self-esteem, relationship and peer issues, life transitions, breakups, anxiety, and depression. She has a special interest in working with adolescents, students, and those in queer and ethically non-monogamous (ENM) relationships. Her compassionate and inclusive approach ensures that all parts of a client’s identity and experiences are welcomed and accepted.

In therapy, Marlin believes that clients are the experts in their own lives. She takes a collaborative, client-centred approach, combining different therapies that she feels may suit her client’s needs. She prioritizes understanding each client’s unique story, using thorough assessments and open conversations to create a space where they feel heard, validated, and empowered.

When working with Marlin, you’ll find a warm, supportive, and affirming space where all aspects of your identity and experiences are honoured. She is committed to helping clients recognize their strengths, explore what brings them fulfillment, and navigate challenges with self-compassion. If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, Marlin is here to walk alongside you.
